01 Who we are

Tyko is an independent atelier of native iOS apps. In these terms, "we," "us," and "Tyko" mean the publisher of the apps; "you" means the person using them. Contact: hello@tyko.app.

02 The apps

Tyko apps are provided for your personal, non-commercial use. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use each app on Apple devices you own or control, in line with the Apple Media Services Terms and the standard Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement (EULA) that applies to apps sold on the App Store.

Some features are informational tools only. In particular, Proteo helps you estimate and track nutrition; it does not provide medical advice (see section 06).

03 Subscriptions and auto-renewal

Some Tyko apps offer optional auto-renewable subscriptions that unlock additional features:

• Proteo — an annual plan and a weekly plan (for example, an annual plan with a short free trial and a weekly plan without a trial). Exact prices are shown in the app before you buy, in your local currency.
• Wend — "Wend Pro," offered as a monthly or annual plan, unlocking additional levels and themes. Exact prices are shown in the app before you buy.

The following standard terms apply to all auto-renewable subscriptions:

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Your subscription automatically renews unless it is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the price of your selected plan.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings after purchase. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Where a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription that includes that content, where applicable.

Purchases, billing, refunds, and payment methods are handled by Apple, not by Tyko. For refund requests, use Apple's "Report a Problem" flow or your App Store purchase history.

04 Your responsibilities

• Use the apps lawfully and only as intended.
• Do not reverse-engineer, resell, or attempt to disrupt or abuse the apps or their backend services.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter (for example, the meals and portions you log in Proteo).

05 Intellectual property

The apps, their designs, names, logos, and content are owned by Tyko or its licensors and are protected by law. These terms do not grant you any rights in our trademarks or branding.

06 Not medical advice

Proteo and any nutrition figures it produces are informational estimates, not medical advice, diagnosis, dosing, or treatment. They are not a substitute for a qualified healthcare professional. Always follow the guidance of your doctor or pharmacist about your medication and nutrition, and never disregard professional advice because of something in the app.

07 Disclaimers

The apps are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. Nutrition estimates are approximate and may be inaccurate; use your own judgement. We do not warrant that the apps will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.

08 Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tyko is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the apps. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your statutory consumer rights.

09 Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update this page and move the effective date at the top. Continued use of an app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
